O heavenly Mother, Mary! Today I offer you my heart in thanksgiving for all that you are to us, your children.
You have done so much for us in bearing Jesus in your womb and caring for Him throughout his earthly life. You gave Him a human body so that He would be on this earth and show us how much His Father loves us.
It must have been such joy to have Him as your Son and, together with St. Joseph, to live with Him every day and to watch Him grow. He brought you so much joy.
The day He left you to begin His life with the apostles must have been so sad but you were so united with Him, that you knew this was the Father's will.
During these three years of His Public life he taught us so much, but He was so misunderstood that His enemies led Him to a cruel death. What torture this must have been for you! But then you did have the joy of His resurrection.
Help us, dear Mother, to follow your example in being true followers of Jesus. We know that you are the Mediatrix of all graces; we need the grace of faith to believe in the Love God has for us so that we can live our lives according to His teachings.
We love you, Mary. We love the times we say our Rosary and regard this as our loving conversation with you. Amen
